The Friday Fun Kid's Cross-Country Ski Program at Devil's Thumb Ranch
Friday's 10:00-11:30 AM starting January 8th, through March 12th. Ski, play on skis, have fun with skis! Hot cocoa to follow in the Broken Axe Barn.
The YMCA program offers ski instruction for beginners and more accomplished skiers ages 5-15, skiing games, winter nature activities, and ends with a Nordic Ski Festival the last Friday.
Kids free lessons are offered on Jan 8th, 15th, and 22nd.
We will add additional information on youth ski programs in the County as they
become available. Anyone running one of these programs may submit information
to the
Webmaster
Age: 1-12; most of the kids are 2-6 years old.
Fee: $20 for the entire 10 weeks ($2 per week) to cover hot chocolate. Equipment rental, instruction & trail pass provided by Devil's Thumb Ranch Meet outside the Broken Axe Barn on the entry to the trail system. Those who need to check out equipment will want to be at the rental counter before 10:00 AM.

The YMCA/Snow Mtn Ranch Kids Nordic Ski Program
The program operates from January 8, 2010 through Feb 28th on both Friday and Sunday from 1:00-2:30 pm.
The Friday program gives more progressive lessons. Equipment and trail pass are provided. Call Christine Lee at YMCA Nordic Center 887-2152 ext 4173 for further information and to register. Equipment is provided but please arrive 30 minutes early to be fitted for equipment when needed.

The Grand Lake Nordic Center Kids Ski Program
Call by Dec 30th to sign up. Reservations are required. Ages 5-13.
